Emerson Park

Emerson Park is a suburban development in the London Borough of Havering, east London, England. It is a principally residential district located east-northeast of Charing Cross.
==Housing==

Emerson Park originates from the development of suburban housing in the late 19th century after the coming of the railway. The residential estates that make up the area are named Ardleigh Green, Emerson Park and Nelmes. It is located to the north of Hornchurch town centre and is considered one of the most prestigious neighbourhood in Greater London. In the middle of the area is Parkstone Avenue which runs west-east and is about a mile long.
There is some variety in the types of property, however the vast majority are substantially large detached homes on plots of land of at least . The roads in the area are wide and lined with mature trees. The architecture is not entirely Victorian or Edwardian as some plots have been reused over time and new homes constructed in contemporary styles. , the average price of homes is over £750,000 on 14 streets in the area and above £1.5 million on five further streets.〔mouseprice.com - (RM11 (Havering) Street Rankings )〕
Being not far from West Ham United's training ground at Chadwell Heath, the area is popular with West Ham footballers. Former player Rob Lee and current player Diafra Sakho live in Emerson Park. Former player Frank McAvenie and former Arsenal player Ray Parlour "the Romford Pele" have also lived there.
